The finest merchants, most talented entertainers, and masterful cooks from across the realms have been summoned to make this the most magnificent celebration yet!

Behold blown glass, hammered pewter, wooden toys, hand-tooled leather, weaponry, unique pottery, abundant clothing, and a wealth of other riches, including Festival Memorabilia! Applaud hundreds of performers, not only on our twelve unique stages but all around you!

Welcome to the Shire of Heyford! As winter yields to spring and the days grow longer and hotter, the royal custom is to flee the heat of London and enjoy a relaxing progress through the English Countryside. It is here that we find ourselves in the Shire of Heyford. The year is 1592, and Queen Elizabeth Regina Gloriana is arrived for a grand celebration to ease the burden of state that rests so heavily on her great shoulders.

Anime Central (ACen) is the largest anime, manga and Japanese popular culture convention in Chicago and the Midwest. Our event is located less than 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, in Rosemont, IL. As part of its mission, ACen brings fans together with guests from the Japanese and US sectors of the anime and manga industry, as well as gaming, cinema, and Asian culture personalities. The Mythical & Medieval Fest is a Renaissance themed festival to raise money for Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams. Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams is local non-profit in Myrtle Beach, SC that provides positive activities to children that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected and reside in group homes or shelters.
